Rates

I keep my rates competitive and straightforward.

¹ The Scotts Valley area we serve is large, and consequently travel times form a major part of our daily schedule. Short visits that require a long travel time are very inefficient for our daily scheduling, and therefore we can offer our 30 minute visit only to the 95066 zip code area.

² Poultry and fish are counted as one. As an example, if you need care for 1 horse, 2 dogs and a fish tank, this is charged out as 4 animals; 2 are included in the flat rate, and $4 will be added to the fee.

³ Last Minute Services are subject to scheduling constraints, and we may not be able to give you the desired time slot or a lengthy visit.

⁴ Holidays are: Memorial day, 4^th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years Day

⁵ To continue to provide quality care at affordable rates and to minimize costs, travel time will be included in the total invoice time for your visit (time as calculated by Google maps, at a $30/hr flat rate).  However, the first 10 minutes of one-way travel time are free (20 minutes total), and gas is included in the flat hourly rate.

⁶ We always visit you once before the actual service, so we can meet you and your animals and discuss your needs. A consult fee of $10 is charged for this visit and waived if we sign into a care agreement.

⁷ Rate for a 1 hour long intensive one-on-one dog training, tailored to the needs of you and your dog. For more than 1 dog, please call.

⁸ Before the actual dog training sessions, a non-committal consultation visit will be scheduled, to assess your and your pet's needs. A consult fee of $20 is charged for this visit.

Cancellation Policy

We try to be as flexible as possible in scheduling our time and service all our clients in the best possible way. This means that last minute changes or cancellations are not always possible and will always impact our planning, our efficiency and our costs. Therefore the following cancellation policy is adopted:

1. If you cancel your reservation less than 2 days (less than 7 days for reservations that include a holiday) before your scheduled services, a cancellation fee of 25% of the standard rates will be charged (excluding travel fees).

2. Visits canceled on the day of service will be charged in full.

3. If we arrive at your home while you are at home yourself and did not cancel, the full price of the service will be charged.

4. If you have a multi-day pet-sitting scheduled and you cancel part of it, the above cancellation policy rules will be applied to the cancelled days of service.
