I am Chiara Bos, the owner and founder of a professional, experienced, loving and reliable service to care for your pets and horses in your home.

 

We offer special care to a wide variety of animals and their owners at reasonable prices. We are certified, insured and bonded with Pet Sitters International.

Based in Scotts Valley, we serve many areas of Santa Cruz County.

I earned a degree from a top agricultural college in the Netherlands and have over 25 years of experience in caring for all kinds of creatures, from horses, cows, dogs and cats to hamsters . I have been a professional trainer for both dogs and horses.

I will keep you updated via emails or phone and I will keep a logbook at your house.

I will take care of walks and exercise, fresh food and water, TLC, litter box clean-up, yard waste removal, pet taxi service to veterinarian or groomer. I will administer medications, perform minor cleaning of cages and aquariums, and will make a security check of your premises while you are gone.

Horses will be fed and their troughs filled with fresh water if needed. If you want them taken to the pasture and brought back in later, I will see to it. I will clean their stalls daily and can also take care of grooming and pick out hooves.  I can also lunge your horse if you want.

At an additional cost, I can water your plants, pick up your mail and newspaper, take  the trash out to the curb and bring the cans back in, change the position of your blinds/curtains, and turn lights on and off so your home looks inhabited.

Our afternoon visits for dogs include a walk in the neighborhood or woods or playtime, refilling water bowls, giving medications, and putting out a meal or snack, if desired.
